Marco Pierre White

He was simply atrocious in the kitchen in S07E54. Pompous, arrogant, bullying, and *beep* are the four words that came to mind while watching that fool parade around the kitchen beating down the contestants. A true jackass.

That pompous twat need to go. Nobody enjoy that 'Godfather' on the show.

reply

If he aggravates the contestants as much as he does me, I applaud them for keeping their composure and not throwing their knives at his throat.

I might be the only one on this board that loves Marco but I really wait for the times he is on the show. Yes he is tough and he pushes the contestants extremely hard. He does this to bring out the best in each of them. They find it enormously hard when they are going through it but really appreciate it when the challenge is over. I wish he was on more. I realy respect the man he is very accomplished and talented. He has helped create many talented chefs who have worked under him as well. I have worked in the industry and have experienced this kind of behaviour from chefs but none were nearly as talented as him. You can have this arrogance if you can back it up. He also has shown many times how much he actually cares and wants these contestants to succeed and tries his best to get them where they want to be.

It doesn't bother me that he's tough or arrogant, it's the constant barking that drives me nuts. If I'm already stressed and trying to think, all he's doing is distracting me, making me angry, and provoking me to do something stupid.

Please, correct me if you see me making a mistake. Please show me a better or more efficient way to do something. BuT Please, STFU! lol

Brilliant contestants, great food, great challenges and yet...

MPW managed to do what even the constant Georgia pimping couldn't do. He single-handedly ruined the season for me.

How did the "Marco Pierre White week" turn into the Marco Pierre White season?? Is he producing the show now? Is he sleeping with someone in the production office?

He was ok in the first week they forced him down our throats and he's back just to be the royal a-hole that the production likes so much.

Yeah the judges are not a-holes in this show. That's actually what I love about it. If I want Gordon Ramsay and that bald a-hole from the Masterchef USA version, I'll watch that, thanks. The reason I'm not is that I hate that kind of BS. So bringing in an extra judge just to be the bitch on the show because the others won't do it?

Wrong damn move. I can't even get to finals week because I can't get past that week.

i can't stand his constant barking, his need for constant chirpings of 'yes marco,' the hand flicks on every word and the way he stares people down like he's trying to intimidate them. he may be brilliant in the kitchen but he acts like a dick a lot of the time
