Is there anything good about this movie?

Everything I've seen has made this sound like the worst film ever, nothing but a knock-off with no plot. Is there anything good in it, visually? Anything?

Tom Felton is good. He's not even in it that much though. Other than that...no.

The like 2 scare scenes are actually pretty decent but both are in the trailer...

The music score by tomandandy and the slick cinematography are better than the material deserves.

reply

Alot better than expected.

reply

Yeah, the cinematography was actually pretty great. Very stylish looking movie.

Please spoil some scenes for me.

Ashley Greene walking around in her underwear is the only highlight.

reply

Ha, I actually agree with this, the booty shots were the highlight of a not so high highlight real.

I thought it looked good in general, and I like the idea of horror in the desert, a lot of cool possibilities there with spooky lighting. But this just did not work well, plain and simple.

No. Nothing about this crap is good. It makes not an ounce of since, it's utterly pointless. Do yourself a favor & save the time on something more worthwhile

It is beautifully shot with good f/x and Tom Felton and Sebastian Stan gave very good performances

The lone neon lights and the ache of the ocean
And the fire that was starting to go out...

reply

Well, Ashley is barefoot in some scenes :).

tomandandy's score is pretty great and has a unique feel to it. Some beautiful shots of the Palmdale area it's set in, the couple that the film centers around is pretty likable, the movie features alot of nightmarish imagery that offers a good look at what people that have given accounts of their experiences with things like sleep paralysis have gone through.

It's much better than it's given credit for.

The end credits. Scariest end credits sequence ever. Much spookier than anything in the film preceding it.
