So what's the deal with the lady in the apartment? Why does she kick the dhobhi out? Was she using him as a toy? ;)

The scene was open for interpretation. But what I got out of it is that she was using him for sex. He was her boy-toy and the entry of Shai into Munna's life really pissed her off (jealousy ).

It was pretty apparent that the lady was using him for sex, considering Munna's reaction when the maid says the lady called him and wanted to talk to him, and his reaction later when Shai asks him about her.
