Do any of you think that maybe Guillaume (the Vin Diesel guy) let go of the other guy's arm when he was hanging from the cliff/arm because he had locked Vin Diesel in the basement and maybe they both liked the same girl?
Does the hunter cut the cable on Chloe at the very end of the movie?
The first is likely for both situations, but the jealousy is the worse factor.
The second is not plausible, since I didn't see the killer did so in the final scene nor during the credits rolled. And some say it was not possible to cut the thick cable with a knife that fast, with his fatal wounds.

shareThe movie definitely implied that the killer cut the cable, as implausible as that seems. The killer walks over to the cable and then without seeing it, you hear the cable snipped and the screen goes black. Not to mention the end credits where they say the bodies were never found.
