Scene I Need To Talk About With People...

When the kid falls from the side of the mountain and is dangling there, he pulls the Vin Diesel dude down with him. This was hilarious, now his girlfriend is up there not doing *beep* her huge tits about to come out of her shirt and she's crying, then the same kid who fell who is the kid who couldnt climb up the mountain at the beggining then shimmys up a rope hanging freely in the air that is being held onto by a ginger chick. Um.... can some one humor me and tell me none of this makes any sense?

Yeah, that had me chuckling to myself too. Perhaps it was partly because Loic refused to allow Guillerme (with whom he had bad feelings as Guillerme was Chloe's ex boyfriend). That's the closest explanation I can come up with, otherwise it's really doesn't make any sense.

Cos this movie never was intended to make any sense for any sensible viewer.

I didn't have a problem with it.
Just because he was scared of heights doesn't mean he can't climb a rope. He's immobile with fear at one point and then in full panic climb a few moments later.
Similar to how he runs away in fear later in the movie and then comes back and kind of saves the day, for the moment at least. He puts up a decent fight against Anton as well.
People in real life are not easily defined, black and white... consistent... so why expect characters in movies to be? Unless it's Hollywood where hack writers churn out a constant stream of simplistic cartoon characters.
