overall i liked this movie, but the way the action moves (very quickly) and some of the animation qualities immediately struck me as similar to robot chicken. i'm not saying anyone stole ideas at all, just that they're similar.

i really dislike robot chicken. it has no subtlety and almost always goes for the easy gag. i enjoyed the subtle jokes (not that there was an overabundance) in panic, like the keyboard being at the floor.

Robot Chicken is all about collision gags and relentless pop-culture references. The frantic animation style is similar, but Panic does it so much better and plays on the restrictions and the shape of the plastic toy models.
