Aardman??
So did it used to be produced or distributed by aardman as I always thought it was them, probably because its on their youtube channel and they have the aardman stamp in the credits.
shareFrom watching the "making of" it seems Aardman was distributing the tv series in the UK (dubbed into English), and helping with the production costs of the series.
They took a pass on helping with the feature film, however.

I am glad they did not dub the film. The original voice actors did a brilliant job and it would have been a shame not to hear their crys and sobs. So it may have been a blessing that Aardman did not get involved.
