So that I fully understand.. please would you explain why.. or rather what.. I "don't get"
If you think I was commenting directly about the film and agreeing with the above comments, that is not so.. Written remarks cannot show ironical tone in them.
It was intended to be a heavily ironic comment about certain types of comment.. Such as the ones above me, where a film is just dished with a word or two .. or extremely silly comments like kill the makers. I was saying that there are frequent comments like that, with no thought or reason behind them other than the poster stating that they, personally, didn't like it.
OR.. You could be saying that I'm the one who missed the irony in the original comment, that the two comments above mine were in fact praising the film, and I misunderstood them. (That would be quite funny as we get stuck in some sort of infinite irony loop)
By the way, I did like the film..
