I know some people who have a long history of damaging their brains by getting high....and I believe "Ash" is inspired by them in his role (and isn't that name a dead giveaway??) I swear, he's completely true to life.
Come on it's a disney family show, thier not supposed to be on Drugs!
Ash is just a plain idiot, every show has a airhead in it!
As an 80s kid and rock/heavy metal fan since then (But strongly in disagreement with the life and teachings of "being a rock star" and the lema "Sex, Drugs and Rock n Roll")::I am afraid I have to say this,
This show DO has some actual critics against rock stars, and I certainly believe there is a relation between Ash and real rock stars on drugs.
Ash in real life is rock star with a brain damage becoz of drugs. But it is VERY CLEAR THIS IS A PARODY, AND PARODIES DO MAKE FUN OF REAL LIFE
Have you seen Ozzy Osbourne show??, it was absolutely funny, just as this show is. But also have the message rock stars can be stupid and dumb sometimes but thats becoz their crazy life, alcohol and drugs.
This show is a parody about that, it do have some critics against rock stars real life but in diguise.
Thats why I think this show is absolutely fantastic

They're on duty. That's what Frank Zappa used to say when anyone asked him what he was on. (Fact: Frank Zappa didn't use any drugs other than nicotine and caffeine).
I just caught an episode of this show and while a lot of the jokes fell flat and I found them un-funny, quite a few of them did hit the mark. I actually laughed out loud.
Maybe I'm just drunk and on drugs....well, no real question about that, I am drunk and smoking pot, but I usually don't actually laugh at Disney shows.
Why do I even watch Disney? Well, it's because the History Channel is actually the Nazi/UFO/Ghost channel. I'm sick of supernatural Nazi aliens.
