The ringtone on Jeff's phone

When Jeff is sitting in his car, his phone rings. That ringtone sounds so familiar, as if I heard it in another film. I don't believe I've heard it other than in another movie or a TV show. I know it's kind of obscure, but ... Anybody got any ideas?

American Beauty, to which this film owes a lot.

I'm pretty sure it's a cell phone brand specific ringtone, that played in the commercials for years. Don't remember the brand.
