Moron Teacher Interview

At one point during this movie, a teacher is interviewed about a student that brought a "45 millimeter handgun with illegal armor piercing bullets" to school. This bothered me. Shouldnt fact checking be an important part of a documentarian's process? No such thing exists. If the story was true (not suprising) they should have interviewed a person with the facts, or just said "handgun". Throwing out incorrect information like that detracted from the credibility of the experience for me. Other than that, right on. F teachers unions. Waiting for Superman was a better made film that made the same points, but it was worth a watch.

You're perceptive enoght to see garbage for garbage, yet have a hard on for teacher unions. Waiting for Superman is pure garbage, Michelle Rhee has been exposed as a fraud, Dave Levin is just a fat cat charter school operator making $500,000 a year, he doesn't care about education, just getting rich. Bottom line is the alternatives to teacher unions are far worse than their shortcomings.
