They are good actors.

The show can be cheesy at times, but Stacy Farber, Cassie Steele, Adamo Ruggiero, and Lauren Collins are good actors. They have more talent than those actors on Gossip Girl and even 90210. No offense to Shenae Grimes. Shenae was really good on Degrassi, however her acting is not nearly as good on 90210. I blame the writing. Anyway, those four actors really impressed me in the movie. They were so good. Stacy Farber was so good at her crying scenes. Adamo was so charming in his role. Lauren was fiesty as Paige. And Cassie Steele was gorgeous and gave a great performance. These four actors deserve more offers. They are incredibly talented at acting. Better than most young actors out there in my opinion.

Lauren Collins kind of annoyed me in this movie. Not Paige, but Lauren. It's not because she was trying to act like a diva, but, I dunno, her acting just seemed kind of mediocre. I feel like she's done better before.

Cassie and Stacey, however, were amaaaazing. I loved them in this movie!

I'm not a huge fan of Cassie Steele or the character of Many, she has her moments, don't get me wrong when she does some of the litter stuff, the dramatic stuff I think is a bit out of her range, and she can sing really well, but I think that at times, especially in this, she over did it except when it was the lighter bits which I think that she did to perfection.

I have always enjoyed Lauren, Stacey, Adamo, Jake, and Mike.... I can't say that I'm a big fan of the kids the bad or the girl who was Peter's girlfriend.

In this, though, as it went on it seems that Lauren was just too over the top and was trying too hard to be like her old boss, to be what she was told to be in Hollywood. It was Paige (who Lauren has always played to perfection) times ten, and that was just bit too much... even for her. I liked her in the beginning up and then towards the end when she was trying to redeem herself because that to me was more of the Paige that I was used to seeing rather than the over the top Paige that turned on both Ellie and someone who stuck by her throughout all of her crap, Marco.

I wish that there was more with the Ellie/Marco/Craig story line because it seems like there were some gaps that didn't make it into the movie (and I thought that they were all really good and gave wonderful and solid performances, although I could have done without Marco calling Craig "dude", they're a bit too old to be calling each other that. For me, Jake, Adamo, and Stacey and their story lines were the ones that I liked the best in the movie.

It got a bit much watching Paige becoming Paige times ten (which got tiresome and like I said before, a bit over done, but maybe that's how she was told how to do it) and to watch Manny be kind of like Paige and have melt down after melt down, just got too much to watch and I got tired of it, and I almost stopped wondering or caring if she was going to be able to get the part or be in the movie or not.

Was this the best script, no it wasn't, but it was good for what it was. Was it a bit over the top, yes, could there have been stronger story lines where there could have been a bit more continuity and some loose ends cleared up, yes. Could it have been less of a stretched out Degrassi episode, I think so, but
it is what it is and for what it is, it's pretty good,
