This movie is showing on the Hallmark Channel as I write this. They call it "Debbie Macomber's Mrs. Miracle" but when I search IMDB for that movie it is not found. I hope someone fixes it; I have tried to submit updates such as that to IMDB but it is too much work.
I searched for "Mrs Miracle" and it came right up ..... seems too much like work to type in the whole title - or even REMEMBER it for that matter LOL! .
It always irritates me when an author thinks so highly of themselves that they want their name mentioned in the title of a movie based on one of their books... and that includes Stephen King, whom I absolutely love!
... the hardest thing in this world is to live in it...
That's funny because I didn't even realize why it was called "Debbie Macomber's Mrs. Miracle." I just thought it was a strange title--I never realized that this was the author! (Basically, I've just been tivoing a lot of Christmas movies over the holidays, so I haven't been paying full attention to all of the titles.)
Who says the author had any say in the title? It might have been the studio, for all we know. Anyway, it doesn’t bother me at all—if you wrote a book that ended up as a movie (and it didn’t turn out horribly), wouldn’t you want everyone to know you wrote it?
And then there's 'Tyler Perry's Everything He's Ever Thought Of'. Good grief, that's annoying. I can no longer watch anything of his because of his big ego.
Well Precious was going to be called Push but that movie "Push" obtained the rights first so they had to change the name. I actually don't mind when the authors name is in the title. It lets the world know that it's based off a book, and who the author is. For Stephen King, I think it's just a way to get more viewers though.
