I love it when the studio changes the name to something generic

Everyone Loves Whales was an awesome name.

I also think that "Everyone Loves Whales" was great...a lot better than "Big Miracle."

"Everyone Loves Whales" sounds more provocative and attention-grabbing. "Big Miracle" sounds like your average ordinary family drama about endangered animals. In fact, the studio is promoting it as such. I'm not sure if this was the director's intent, but judging by the trailer, I'm pretty sure kids will be bored.

I unfortunately have to agree. The trailer looks reasonably appealing to me; I'm definitely keeping it on my Netflix queue...but they probably should have stuck with their original tack...

They should have called it "A Whale Tale," cause it looks like a total ripoff of "A Dolphin Tale." :)
