Christmas in Denmark error

This movie is about one present that was forgotten by Santa correct?
So now there is a mad dash to get the present to this little girl in time, otherwise she will be the only one who dosnt recive a christmas present in time. The only problem is that in the start of the movie, they are in Denmark, delivering presents at 12:00 pm 24 december. In Denmark, they celebrate Christmas on Christmas eve. Meaning everyone in Denmark hadnt recieved their presents on time.

Hehe im from denmark, actually i live just 28 kilometers from Aarhus, the city they "invade", and yes you are absolutely right, but this time i guess its ok ;)

Better to die laughing, than to perish in boredom.

They also didn't have a Danish flag at the north pole.. yet somehow a union jack, Chinas flag and a German flag...?? What about Denmark, Canada and Russia. Those three and the USA are the only countries that actually have a stake in the North Pole.... Anyway, I enjoyed the film even with the odd error.

For the sake of accuracy, no one has any kind of legitimate claim on the north pole. It's ice floating on water. There isn't any land there to claim.

maybe it's BECAUSE people get their presents on the 24th in Denmark, they knew they were even more late than usual?

For the sake of Argument.

But, just to see Aarhus in a foreign animated film should make the locals proud. I've never seen it done before in danish animation of any kind.

Same movie mistake with Germany, BTW. Kids there receive the presents on Christmas eve. Understandably Americans would not know that, but this movie was british dominated, and Brits should know a little bit more about the customs of the neighbouring countries

reply

Well the North Pole Santa Clause would also not visit Denmark with gifts.
The Danes have their own version of him named Julemanden and he comes from Greenland.
