Hi everyone,

What does everyone think of the contestant's songs this year? Does anyone have any favourites?

I love this year's contestants. With love from the USA. Congratulations to Turkey, Portugal, Malta, Iceland, Sweden, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzogonia, Romania, Finland, and Israel!!!!

Who do you think will qualify in Semi Final 2 ashleys-reid?

Hello 'jack' from the USA:)

I didn't think that many US citizens would take an interest in Eurovision, but it's great that you watched it:)

OK, for Semi-Final 2 I'll say:
- Norway (happy b-day, Alexander!)
- Greece
- Spain
- Russia (eventhough they automatically pass as they're the hosting country)
- Slovenia
- Hungary
- France (I LOVE Patricia Kaas!)
- UK (possibly biased, wouldn't vote though, lol!)

I'm the only one in my family who is into the ESC, so I've always watched alone.

I'm glad that Anush & Inga got through! However, I also voted for Bulagria, and eventhough Krassimir's 'Illusion' is a fave of mine, the performace IMO, was ruined by those three singers on stage with him. Especially that older woman who growled at one point during the song!

What were your favourites from yesterday and who would you like to see in the Final?

I agree with you. His performance was ruined by those women. They butchered the song. I was estatic that Anush and Inga made it. I thought some people would not vote for them. I liked Andorra and I am suprised that Macedonia or Switzerland did not make it through.

My favorites from yesterday were Sweden, Andorra, Malta, Romania, Turkey, FYR Macedonia, Iceland, Belarus, Czech Republic, Israel, Armenia, Portugal, Finland, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. I pretty much liked all of them. I felt bad for those that did not win.

I would like to see in the final:

Armenia
Norway
Turkey
Iceland
Malta
Israel
Portugal
France-part of my people yeah
Germany
Hungary
Slovenia
Netherlands
Poland

I havent heard Greece yet. Countries I know are going to the Final from the Semi final 2:

I think the standard was somewhat better than in recent years... I didn't mind Norway winning. Though, my personal favourite was Estonia... I thought the UK was exceptionally lucky to come fifth with that dreary, repetitive and highly forgettable song.
