Give Mantracker a real challenge

Rather than having him chase some barroom bozos or mall ninjas, the producers should have him track real prey. Give him some Marines or Green Berets to track. Of course they have to leave the M4A3 carbines out, no claymores, and calling in airstrikes would be cheating.
Having some general military people or police would make the show more interesting, at least once in a while. Of course putting US Navy Seals or British or Australian SAS troops would stack the odds against Mantracker.

Well, I know ONE show they had a Marine or such. He spent too much time reconnoitering and lost.

I know! pretty much anytime they have someone who is "trained" for these kinds of situations they're so cocky and overly confident they end up getting caught! I find that reeeally funny.

"I knew it! I'm surrounded by a**holes- Keep firing a**holes!!"

I didn't catch that episode. Sounds interesting.
I have to believe a team of two trained military personel would be much harder to catch. First, they're probably in better shape than most contestants. Second, they have been trained in how to read and use maps. Third, they should know the value of silence and use hand signals instead of talking all the time. This would give them a big head start over the average contestant.

They had a show with: two firefighters, two former military men (season 1 or 2), one former sniper and a regular guy, and a show with two policemen or former law enforcement (can't recall exactly but they were with law enforcement and were very well-trained prey). That's all I can recall at the moment.

Heck,..have him track someone who went to Tom Brown's Tracker School and took the like Scout classes (where they learn counter-tracking techniques). Now THAT would be sweet.

They could do that and it would be interesting, but keep in mind that the showmakers control the game. Big difference between a course on open grassland in South Dakota and one set below the timberline in the Canadian Rockies.

He was in Hawaii for an episode, why didn't they let Dog Chapman chase him and see who would win that one.

Another thing is that this guy reminds me of a Tv actor that usually plays "heavies" in Crime Dramas and Westerns. I think that I remember seeing him in several episodes of Walker Texas Ranger.

This is a Canadian television production so they should have JTF2.
