An English review

Well, putting Bordeauboy's enigmatic "bof" as a review in context, I fell about laughing. It's genuinely funny as only a farce can be, piling ever more absurdity on absurdity as the plot relentlessly pushes forward toward the reveal where, as in the best traditions of all farce, it all comes out right.

I liked Catelina Denis as Louise in this. She plays a great Femme Fatale. The movie was a lot of fun.

Almost didn't recognise Michael Youn in the End Credits scene. Nice to see Loki didm't hold any grudges and offered him a job in Sphere.

As to the job offer, this is a farce, so it all has to end well except, of course, the appalling behaviour of Sam's employer and his ghastly son must be punished.

I didn't know ICE was his son. All in all I really enjoyed Paris Express. Its about on par with Luc Besson's Taxi (only it has less stunts).

The chick that played the Sphere leader in the van was cute as well.

Sorry, I am just waking up and there may be a little ambiguity in what I wrote. I think Ice is the son of Le Boss as played by Jean-Marie Lamour — perhaps I misjudge the situation. As yet, Sam has not managed to produce children although with his new-found confidence, anything is possible.

I think this is a better comedy than Taxi. Although we have a pizza delivery boy making good, Gérard Pirès is making a film that's more about spectacular driving than the people. Coursier just grows progressively more absurd as the people dispute who should end up with the stolen goods.
