It's about time these kind of remakes started happening

Everyone is tired of Hollywood remaking everything these days, and Asian films are remade more than any others (the remake trend can be traced back to The Ring). I'm glad to see another country (especially an Asia country) remaking an American film. Not only that, but transferring it to a completely different location, instead of just changing the language and passing it off as their own, which brings me to my next point - the credit given in the trailer. There are at least 3 times "Blood Simple" is mentioned. Hollywood films so often don't even acknowledge the original. It's nice to see a remake being done right.

I know the 2004 film Cellular with Chris Evans and Jason Statham was remade in Chinese. It was called Connected and I believe Louis Koo is in it.

Also 'Black Cat' with the beautiful Jade Leung, a remake of 'La Femme Nikita' made after the original but before the horrible American 'Point of No Return'

I shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.
