plot summary? (spoilers)

First off, I liked this movie. As someone who has played in a few bands, the movie does a good job of capturing the feel of it.

Like most movies on Netflix I see, I come here first to see what people think. The plot summary makes a big deal of whether or not they're going to sell out to a major label, but this isn't a major part of the movie. If its a reference to that A&R girl for the bigger label, it makes no sense because half the band never even met her. I guess its not a big deal, but I read that before watching the movie, and when the movie ended I thought I missed something.
