What a new concept...

An ugly, middle-aged and surly Eastern European man wanders around his city depressed and unhappy with his life while having beautiful women fall for him left and right. Haven't seen that before in EE cinema.

the concept does not have to be new or groundbreaking. kamen kalev managed to tailor a decent flick out of it (decent being subjective of course). i can understand that you did not like the film but no need to rake the concept just because it is not original.

It wasn't necessarily a bad film, but it seemed to have no message other than life is hard in Eastern Europe, which is the same as virtually every character-driven movie made there, featuring the same personality and character.

I think there is far too much self-identification for the creators in these movies about ugly older men who are unpleasant and boring, yet have all these beautiful girls.

well, surely you can look at "life is hard in eastern europe" aspect but in my opinion the film tries to show us the pointlessness of modern life, which is not only limited to eastern europe.

although i liked the itso character and christov performed well, i must agree that, that dude possibly cannot get those chicks :) even if he got niki (cosmic mystery), there is just no way on earth he can get isil.

I'm with coleburg83 on this one. To put it bluntly, the movie was boring.
