Favourite act? (spoilers possible)

So the film is three acts from the life of a girl/woman called Ana. The first is set in her childhood, the second her adolescence and the third as an adult. Which one did you like best and why?

I loved the first act with Ana the girl. It was genuinely creepy and I was scared at points. Also the use of sounds especially the breathing was amazing. It certainly wouldn't have been out of place in an Argento film.

I preferred the first act by far. It would have made a great short film. The rest was kind of lost on me.

I gotta say it's the third act for me. Love the song from "Black Belly of the Tarantula," and how they used it. Also loved the music at the end with the chase scene. The moon-lit chase scene was beautiful too.

The second act. It was very simple and focussed, only being one event, a trip to the village hairdresser. The first and third acts included more events and therefore felt a bit all over the place.

Moreover, despite being only one event and despite being so short, it's the only act that really seems to have a character arc... Anna at the end is different from Anna at the beginning and it all happens smoothly and logically.

Personally I would happily watch two hours of Anna and her mum walking around places in the sunshine. They're very easy on the eye...
