I like the concept, but here are somethings I don't get!

I saw this movie two times. Once drunk and once sober. This movie came out a few years ago and i finally seen it. Did i miss somethings, or are there plot holes?

I thought Tyler liked daddy bears, not otters. He even tells Simon if Simon had a belly, he would be perfect. Roger obviously doesn't have a belly. So why Tyler attracted to him? Is it because he's the hot, unobtainable thing that doesn't want to be tamed?

Also why was Brent still with Fred after what happened? Brent didn't want an open relationship, but Fred did. It was obvious that Fred wanted Tyler and Brent knew it. Why was there no confrontation about it? Yes, i remember seeing that part where he confronted him about "sticking" his finger into his ass. I don't understand why Brent would be ok with everything.
