Question...

English is not my first language and British accent is almost impossible for me to understand, so I did not get a lot about the movie (will try to watch it again ).
But one thing I would like to understand: what is exactly that they do ?
They just bring up to light some embarassing moments from people's lives and expose their secrets ? After the "cleaning" is like they testify that no other secret is being hidden ?
And why, after leaving a client's house, one of the cleaners say to the other : "Those people have no idea how lucky they are " ?

Hello,

First of all, I'm English and I found some of the dialogue hard to hear properly - possibly because of the way it was filmed entirely on location.

You have described their job quite well, but it may help to know that there is an English idiom where you refer to "having a skeleton in the closet".

This is a phrase used to describe having a hidden secret in your past.

Bennett and Davis uncover these hidden secrets and buried memories, so that couples starting out on married life together know everything about their partner.

It is worth noting that Bennett and Davis end up looking in the closet in a literal sense as well.

I hope this helps!

That describes the first ten minutes or so of the movie, but it becomes quite obvious that they provide other services as well. Almost the entire movie revolves around their trying to locate a missing husband and father.

That is true. But the "hidden skeleton" is in fact that the daughter knew what happened to the father the entire time.

I think the movie is better phrased as having a theme of resolution.
