What about Atheist Nativity?

Atheists are the most marginalised, hated group in all the United States, even more so than blacks, gays and muslims so why shouldn't they get their own nativity movie?

reply

Nativity is the birth of Jesus. Since Athiest's don't believe in God/Jesus. What would be the point

So they can all dress up like it's 1 AD and gather some people and sheep around a young woman and a baby and bitch about what *beep* the whole scene they're playing out is and how Christians are so dumb for believing in it. Atheists love doing stuff like that.

Good call.

I am rather agnostic about the idea.

It's that man again!!

Actually, the word "Nativity" usually is linked to the birth of Jesus, however the real definition is basically "The birth or the events surrounding a birth." So if Atheists feel that someone's birth has special meaning to them they could have their own "Nativity Scene." Just have the baby represent the special person and add some other figures to represent any of the people and/or circumstances surrounding the event. And have it displayed at a time most significant to you and/or other Atheists.
