2/10: A dishonorble punch towards movies like fearless.

2/10

One of the worst movies in recent history (they completely lose the message of wushu), they put in cgi that isn't well done or needed, exaggeratations and stunts that just make you completely lose interest in the real story behind it.

The two parts i enjoyed the most was the intro and outro, which were well made and held up if this would have been another high end actionmovie, but it is not and the try to make it to one fails horribly.

If you're not fussed about what you digest in terms of culture within the cinema this might be for you, but any serious movielover will leave this movie with a feeling of disgust. The director can not be a man of honor failing the message this much in the portrayal...

Fearless was good. True Legend was amazing.

Stop comparing them to each other, you do yourselves and both films a 'dishonor' in doing so. They were both great, but I prefer True Legend, personally. Fearless just felt too epic to translate to film correctly.

I soon lost interest in wtf was happening in Fearless and only looked forward to the fight scenes because it really just drug on and on with useless info and backdrops on characters that had little to do with the final outcome of the movie.

I do believe I do owe you one on that note.

My hat is off to you, sir. That's twice I have not correctly read a thread on here lately, weird. Really weird...

Anyways, my apologies. But I do think your limiting your scope in regards to trying to just sit back and enjoy a movie for what it is, instead of what you feel it should of been. Possibly taking it too seriously? Maybe - maybe not.

Just my two cents.

Haha, that was funnier than the movie itself (which I thought was (unintentionally ?) hilarious. I thoroughly enjoyed it though :)

If you want something with the feel more towards Fearless. Go see IP Man 1 & 2 and there is anouther one can't rmeember the name done real clsoe style of his youth. It is done realy well with out all the CGI and as much wire workd. Oh and you will suddenly go...wow this story is very familur. Alot of these movies are just new adaptions of moves that have been done several times over.

Why can't people ever learn the difference between loose and lose?

reply

The ones that don't always loose, I mean lose.

Adrian: Why do you wanna fight?
Rocky: Because I can't sing or dance.

It's one of a few of those small blind spots people tend to have - there are many and another common on is their and there to mention one.

My imdb posts are getting altered.

Not even close. There, they're, and their all sound the same.

Loose rhymes with caboose, and lose rhymes with booze. Sure, booze has two o's like loose, but the Z makes the difference in pronunciation.
