Subject says it all. Loved the movie up until the very end with the big twist. Like most twists it only serves the purpose of a last minute mind blower while pulling out the foundation of an otherwise excellent shocker. What a waste, that villain could have been the next freddy or jason , instead he just doesnt exist.

Maybe, but i find with horror and sci fi that less explanation is usually better.

I knew something strange was up as soon as the woman disappeared though. When they all showed up on the operating tables and the story just "forgot" about her for like a half hour, I figured maybe she was in on the whole kidnap and torture thing.
So, I was pleasantly surprised at how they twisted it at the end.
It was sad that he lost his legs, but the way a lot of these movies have been ending lately, I'm surprised the man and woman didn't end up dying a horrible death.
Keep seeing these depressing ass movies where all the innocent people die.
