shareIt's sort of like Monsters, Inc. They took a modern myth (monsters in closets) and elaborated on the details of how it would work. Here a simple thing that parents tell children (storks deliver babies) is explored and developed into a lovely little story. Reminds me also of The Santa Clause series where other cultural myths come together: Santa, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, the Sandman, etc. I love how human the Pixar movies are. Their cartoonishness is rooted in real life and meaning, versus other studios whose movies are just cartoonish.
