What is it with everyone? This movie rocked and Adrien Brody owned it!

This movie had everything. Great characters, fun story, and a different approach to Predator. Adrien Brody is a phenomenal actor and he owned the roll as an action hero. Man was beast and people need to stop saying we need the Rock, or Vin Diesel for rolls like this. Get out of the generic Hollywood stereotype of action heroes. Didn't you guys see DOOM? Big tough guy Rock with a big gun. Movie sucked badly. I enjoy the Rock but he shouldn't be the go-to action man.

How many people in the military have time workout and take all the supplements the Rock does to get so big? Adrien Brody played a brute tough black ops mercenary who looked and acted incredibly believable.

Love this movie.

I normally do not post comments on discussion boards on imdb, because this place is filled with children and idiots.

Nonetheless, I must applaud and praise your post, Hellzkitchen, because you stated the obvious and the fact that nobody wants to admit: Brody played this almost flawlessly and the movie was way above average, giving us even more lore info on the predator species.

I liked very much both Predators and Doom.

I think they're 2 of the best sci-fi movies after the year 2000.

They just have that special "elite team" and "fear feeling" that we all loved in Aliens.

Plus, the visuals were awesome.

My ratings are not always like the IMDB average score because I only enjoy intelligent movies.

Seconded. Lots of excessive hate for this movie, and for Adrien Brody in the role (seriously, he did fine, get a life). In all honesty, this action flick was entertaining, gritty and well-made enough.

I love this movie. It brought a very fresh and intriguing idea - humans on another planets as preys? Just WOW! I didn't expect that. They should have made more sequels like this. Anyway, I still prefer first 2 Predator films to this one but Predators is great too

By the way, I loved DOOM. It was entertaining enough and The Rock was not the main star in it, Karl Urban was

Saw this movie for the first time abd its literally the definition of "meh." Not bad but not exactly good either.

Adrien Brody just doesn't make a convincing action star. There were too many homages to the original, where it felt almost desperate, straight down to the rip-off of the scene where Bill/Hanzo tells the others to run and stands to face the Predator hand-to-hand with honor. It was badass and fitting with Billy. With Yakuza guy it was so random.

Not a bad movie for a lazy Sunday afternoon but I'm not surprised this flopped. The Predator franchise is played out.

ARE SOME OF YOU GUYS ON CRACK!! in what universe would a skinny ridiculously large nose nice middle class Jewish boy from Queens cut it as a tough action hero? Brody is not a natural badass and it shows in Predators, I swear some of you nerds would be fooled by a gorlia in a tutu dress.

The fact that this film couldn't even outperform the awful Alien vs Predator: Requiem at the box office must tell you something. Brody is a good actor when he is cast in the right part but in this he out of his element.

Do you know what the budget difference was between the two films including marketing? Do you think how much a movie makes has direct corrolation with how good it is? Did you like AVPR more than Predators? if you do then you can gtfo and suck off the guy who played Dallas (your sad idea of a tough action star).

And show me the military requirements that mention nose/body ratio otherwise stfu about the same tired "he has a big nose" crybaby complaints. we get it, you like your men with small noses. maybe blonde and blue eyes with just the right amount of scruff too, whatever I don't care how you like your men. fact is that Brody has the same body type as Poncho from the original Predator film.

It was an incredibly clever and unique idea. It was rated R. It was Predator. There isn't really much else you could ask for. I seriously don't understand the supposed hate. But then again the other 2 are rated about the same yet everyone raves about them. Great sequel and great movie.

It was a good film I don't get the hate. It's much much better than AVP, AVP2.
