Zohan Strauss (Shtrauss) is Spellbinding!

For the first time in ages, I have a screen crush. Strauss' eyes are so stunning and soulful as Aaron. You know that a movie is beautifully acted when you can get the meaning without reading the subtitles.

This film is intoxicating and, ultimately, beyond sad.

Well said stacebo, I agree completely.

He's fantastic! I had to look him up on imdb. His performance was so moving. I like that he seems so tough but inside he was vulnerable. Hope he does lots more films.

Despite whatever Adam Sandler movies may have taught you, Zohan isn't an actual Israeli name. The actor's name is Zohar. It means 'shining' in Hebrew, which I think is beautiful.

And I agree, Zohar Strauss was really good in this movie. He's also been terrific in other roles I've seen him in, so I look forward to seeing him in more movies and shows.
