Have seen this title been refered to as "Armour of God: The Chinese Zodiac".
Is this legit? Is there any connection at all?

Yeah it's true. Jackie's name in this movie is JC/Asian Hawk.
sharefunny thing is - no body in this movie NEVER call jackie an Asian Hawk or even mention him by that name. To tell you the truth, sadly only the name is having connection to previous AoG movies. And well it all here look like a homage to his previous AoG movies. Seriousely go watch old AoG movies and you will be more satisfied than watching this one. This one is having too much comedy and unfortunately not funny comedy, if you watch this movie and make it to the island scene you will understand me.

That's not true.
He also ate chewing gum in funny ways. Though in this movie, it was way more boring than in the original Armor of God.
So I can safely watch this without watching the armor of god movies first?
