Jean-Yves / tax office denouncement

If Suzette had denounced her son to the tax office, would this mean she was attempting to disown him? I didn’t fully understand this.

Overall, I thought this documentary was an interesting study of a woman who had strong influences on those around her, both positive and negative. I admire how she dutifully handles her work under difficult circumstances. However, I wish there had been more focus on Jean-Yves since his conflicts and struggles were the most compelling part of the documentary for me. I wanted to know how he coped with his breakdowns and how he reconciled his mother’s feelings toward him. The title refers directly to him, after all.

Too true.
But I imagine Michel had to be SOMEWHAT sensitive - it also seemed like he already exploited poor, little Yves, showing as much as he did. I insist, very poor Yves - such terrible, unresolved Freudian issues, and the BITCH is still alive - (do you know anyone like her? A hero, so attentive, understanding and kind and caring to EVERYBODY else but her own son! That's generally the combustion behind great/ successful people, they always neglect something’s and someone’s to pioneer full steam ahead. Great to bury one's self in ambitious work so as not to notice the smelly, decaying corpse in the back room.) How is it that this film will not be more, thornier *beep* in HIS poor, little, gay heart!?
PS. Oh yeah, your tax question - that's obvious - what a Kapital C k an t she is, to try and fark him over by any means possible! A little ingenious your question... She seems to have disowned him forever, the tax thing, surely, is just more of the exaggerated meanness she treats him with, (even if not obvious or explicit nastiness - that of course can make it all the more worse - little fag has nothing solid to rebel against & little or no allies to help prop his self esteem up).
much love.
