Classical Song name?

hey i have a quick question: in a short scene richard shiffs character plays a classical tune and i was wondering what music (which composer) that was? can anybody help me out?

If it's the scene I'm thinking of I believe it's Hatikvah which is the Israeli national anthem.

I wondered about this myself. I figured from the context of the scene it was probably a Jewish composer so at a complete guess I'd say perhaps Felix Mendelssohn? He was the first composer I thought of anyway, don't know for sure. I'd love to know myself if anyone has an idea though.

It is Hatikvah, the Israeli national anthem. This has the same tune as the classical work Die Moldau, by Smetana (they are both based on an Eastern European folk tune).
