DVD extras

Just watched this on DVD last night. The film itself met my expectations almost exactly -- amusing & entertaining, interesting premise if somewhat superficially treated, and rife with stereotypes that pc-sensitive folks will doubtles find offensive. Overall, about a C+.

But the DVD extras: A+! Instead of the usual canned hollywood schlock )"the cast is brilliant," "the director is brilliant," "I fell in love with it as soon as I saw the script" yadda yadda), we are treated to several handfuls of highly amusing vignettes and converstions that had me laughing out loud. The ones between David Baddiel and Richard Schiff were particularly good.

If you see this on DVD, be sure to watch the extras. You won't be sorry.

Any mention of the documentary on the same subject in the Extra's?

A few years back I saw a documentary organised by Amnesty International about a Palestinian father who went to speak to the Jewish couple that had adopted his son. That was as painful as The Infidel was funny.
