6/10 but amazing makeup (or CGI?) to age the actors

I thought this was kind of meh, something I would very mildly recommend. But I was extremely impressed by how they made the characters (Barney especially) look age-appropriate for every era from 1974 to the present. Maybe that's where some of that thirty million budget went? Definitely over-budgeted for such a modest drama starring a middle aged to older schlubby guy--not sure how that got greenlit or how they expected to make the money back (they didn't, by a long shot) but hey: kudos to the makeup people or the CGI wizards in any case.
