Get rid of Nar!

This show has access to great people and great effects studios, but is completely unwatchable because of the host. I was sticking with it as much as I could for the information, but by the time he referred to a heavy camera mount as being a workout by saying "curlies for the girlies", he had lost me. I also wish they would spend more time with each person/technology, though I'm sure the people keep their time with Nar to a minimum, I would! I was excited that a show was coming to The Science Channel about movie effects, but I have quit watching it as long as that means watching Nar. It would be more at home on Nick Jr. (even Nickelodeon gives viewers more credit than this!). They should also realize that people interested in this type of show likely already know a tad about how movies are made, it wastes good time explaining the obvious when it could be going deeper into the bigger technologies. I remember Nar realizing that "Motion control means anything to do with controlling motion!" - that is the type of crap I mean. Give us a good science channel show about movie effects, please!

We like him. He is funny and does not get in the way of the information.

He's a twat; Love the concept. Hate the host.

Ehh, I'm not that irritated by him. Perhaps because I'm fond of the guy who does his dubbing in my country, perhaps because I was just tainted by the previews and thought he would be immensely annoying before even seeing the first episode, or maybe because I concentrate more on the movie-related topics he describes, rather than his antics, but I've grown to like the series.

Doesn't mean I'd mind a host-swap, but I'm fine with it as it is.

yeah, he's pretty annoying. if he would just cut out the cheese (his attempts at being funny and cute are quite lame) and get rid of that ridiculous hair, he'd probably be alright.

he should act more like an actual adult and dump the man-boy act.

and he should do something about that name-- i was just at the discovery channel site for his show, and very episode description was "nar does this, nar does that, nar, nar, nar". it was also annoying.

Well he is kinda lame, but still the 'contrast' between the tons of information and him is huge. I guess its otherwise kinda dull.

But i won't mind Summer Glau or Kristen Bell though :)

Agreed. Seeing a 35 y.o. TV professional behave like a 5 y.o. little girl is disturbing.

I like his unique hosting style. I think he is witty and funny and he has excellent vocal characteristics.
