not as good as previous ones but still satisfying

In many ways, the movie retains the style of the previous Ju-on, the unstoppable cosmic force! A lot of people said the story is not related to Kayako, but they are wrong. In one scene, Kayako’s creepy son was in the yard and playing with the mechanical puppy. So the curse or Ju-on originated from Kayako goes on, and the uncle character who killed everyone was obviously possessed. Almost everyone who is in contact with the people in the house gets killed, except the daughter of the taxi driver who befriended the dead girl.

I really think that Kayako had nothing to do with it.I mean I think when someone dies a terrible enough death that a ju-on is born reguardless and it could happen to anybody Kayako is just one of many.Hence Toshio just hanging around.

I agree. He always wonders around so it's likely that he sensed what was happening and decided to stay there to see the final result. I bet he likely became friends with the ghost of the little girl.
