two stories related

So i just watched this and maybe I just don't pay attention well enough but for some reason my friend and I thought the two stories of Ju-on were related...this and the black ghost. I thought the father in the black ghost was the bad guy who kills his family in the white ghost and that I guess he had moved back with his parents after his daughter and wife died and then went crazy. Looking back i guess what i thought didn't make sense...but w/e. Honestly for some reason I find japanese horror movies semi confusing....maybe because I don't speak japanese. idk.
But they are interesting I guess.
If this post doesn't make sense, sorry. Its super late and i'm exhausted but wanted to look up this movie before I slept.
