wow!!

I guess this show isn't going to make it.
I watched 2 episodes on demand and i liked it.

Why go to their banana stand when we can make your banana stand?

I like the show as well.

And I am glad to find a fellow Arrested Development Fan!

Me three!. I don't think it will be such a hit with the PETA people, or animal lovers though. It's amazing what people will kill, and eat, when they get hungry enough. I've always wondered what these PETA people would do if they were in the similar situation. Starve? Maybe eat grass?

I thought right from the beginning, that older lady wasn't going to make it. She seemed way too confident, considering how incredibly difficult this must be. She may be tough, but thinking "this is going to be easy" is just setting yourself up for massive dissapointment and failure.

The "city slickers" knew they were in for a serious challenge unlike anything they had ever experienced, so when they have tough times I think they were less emotionally "shocked".

I have to say I preferred the first season of this show, but this one is still good.

P.S. I just watched every Arrested Development episode for probably the 10th time, a couple weeks ago. Such a hilarious show. I recommend "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" if you haven't seen it. It's kinda similar to AD, but more raunchy/raw.

I didn't think she'd leave after the first episode. I felt bad for her when she came back and they hadn't left her any food. I think that's what broke her.

there's a second season?

In response to the P.S. I don't even know how many times I have rewatched AD I F*&*in love that show!!!! I also watch It's Always Sunny. my favorite character is Charlie.

Well, I didn't think she'd leave after the first episode, but I didn't think she was going to make it to the end. That was a pretty crappy thing to do, not leaving her any food though, and I think I'd be a lot more frustrated with the group than she was (they didn't seem to be taking things very seriously at first).

This is the second the season :P Here's the link to the first one: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1229467/

It was a lot different than this one. There were 4 separate small groups, and each of them had to survive in the middle of winter in small cabins/shelters. The basically tried to stockpile as much food/water/wood as they could before the Winter hit, and then tried to make it through.

They also did some hunting/fishing, and journeyed through harsh wilderness in the middle of winter to hunt mountain goats and moose, and later to meet up with each other and the plane that would fly them back to civilization.

Both the seasons are good, but very different. This one is a bit more like a normal "reality show", with people dropping out all of the time. There's just no prize, and it's reality unlike most "reality" shows ;)

I was kind of surprised the gay guy has lasted this long.

reply

Who? Richard Hatch? I think that's a different Survivor show.

reply

The fruit loop who is the horse trainer in real life. Looks like he spent a month in the tanning salon before going on the show. Being gay do you suppose he prefers stallions to fillies?

reply

Lol I was reading the "biographies" of the participants on the Discover Channel website. He is a member of the "Gay Rodeo Association" ...not that there's anything wrong with that.

I am thinking that TDC got a lot of complaints about how unfair the first season was due to the different "levels" of survival the people had to deal with.

Yes, that young couple who got stuck with the wimpy canvas tent were screwed!

It wasn't so much the "wimpy canvas tent" as it was where it was placed. Right on a marsh, swamp. That was ridiculous. Those canvas wall tents will stay pretty darn cozy year round in Alaska like that if they had enough wood.

If I want your OPINION - I'll give it to YA!! LOL
