Screw the haters.

This was a good movie. Can you imagine being prosecuted for a crime you didn't commit, losing your child and going to prison? Scary stuff.

As much as I like Julie Benz, she was awful in this. Awful. Awful awful awful awful awful awful. Especially after the robbery when the police are accusing her. She'd always do that sorta smile/exhale "what did you just say?" kind of look or be completely clueless to the fact the police are constantly thinking she was in on it and not getting angry. I think any woman who had been terrorized like that, watched their child get bound up in electrical tape, think they have a bomb strapped to them, steal from their own bank, and then get accused of being in on it would be one angry broad.

I know this is just a TV movie but it's a story that relies heavily on the acting a mood and it failed. The acting was bad all around. The bad guy was practically chewing the scenery and twirling his mustache while he was terrorizing his hostages. And the court scenes later on were dull. Benz shows no real passion considering what her character went through.

When they accused her of being in on it and implying she forced her daughter to go along with it she should've recounted, in graphic detail, what happened and what she went through and how terrified she was that she and her daughter would be killed. But no, we got some pussy made for tv friendly trite that just made me angry for sitting through the whole thing in the first place.

Don't try to cash in love, that check will always bounce.
