She couldn't possibly warn the only person that actually opened the door for her that a mad man with a shotgun was following them.

It's not hard to shout "RUN, HE'S GOT A GUN" while running past him into his kitchen. Who knows, in hindsight, maybe he could have even opened the backdoor for her (and I don't even mean her ass this time).

All I could think was that she got that man killed. If she had shouted out a warning, the man could have run or helped them.
