Not very good

Louis C.K. is my is my favorite comedian and I love Chewed Up and Shameless but this just wasn't very good. The old lady felt the same way. Some decent stuff but overall it is pretty meh. Sad to see.

I am going to see "Word" live in DC in October so hopefully that material is better.

It's sad to see you don't have a very good sense of humor.

reply

I love all his other work but not this so I must not have a sense of humor? Genius.

reply

I agree that it wasn't up to the Shameless/Chewed Up standard, but its wasn't terrible. By now, I can just be entertained by listening to him talk

________
-I think George Michael is hiding Anne in the attic.
-From who, the Nazis?

First of all I thought Hilarious was great and up to the standards of Shameless and Chewed Up. Second, if you did not like it you have to remember he was writing for Hilarious, his tv show, and his tour at the same time. Each of those will contain different material. So considering he's writing for 2 other major projects I think Hilarious was amazing.

I'm the guy who does his job. You must be the other guy.

I saw this yesterday and I agree that it was the weakest of the other two big'uns (Shameless and Chewed Up), but man oh man, I was DYING when he imitated an English noble throwing a sack of coins to a peasant.

reply

I think this contained the bit that made me laugh the hardest from any of his specials, the bit about the old man at the airport. I was dying.
