It's gonna fail
Yep.
shareSo, remember when I made this post in September 2009 and a few of you people doubted me? Well I was absolutely 100% correct.
shareI'm not disagreeing with you but what do you mean you were right? Has it been said that the show was canceled?

Nope, they still haven't officially canceled it. But considering they only made 13 episodes, it's been off the air for 10 months, Malcolm Jamal Warner's taken a part on a BET show, and Sherri Shepherd's been named host of the new "Newlywed Game," I think that's all a strong indication that it's not coming back. This page should keep you abreast of any official news on the fate of the show:

From an "insider", it had the ratings, and 20 episodes were ordered for the 2nd season. "Word on the street is" there was a legal snafu that caused things to go south for the show. You were, say, 5% correct.
shareI can't say I'm surprised. This is probably Lifetime television program #3 for me that they've done this to. The network has a history of running a season of a show and then not saying anything for months and months on its status. Fans on message boards can't find anything out and then 6 months down the road it's "canceled" with no legitimate explanation given.
I'm guessing the "legal snafu" was Sherri's ex causing trouble and threatening to sue. It's his fault he's been called a cheater over and over.
