Does anyone know who portrayed Terry Banks?

Matthew Shotwell. He also played in the Discovery channel series "Weed Country" from a few years ago.

Does anybody know if he was just acting on that series as well? What I mean is, they did use his real name after all, but I'm not sure how much of that was real, if any. Did he actually own the marijuana dispensary that got taken down by the feds? Or was it all staged for the show?
