The book

In the book Facing Ali, there were 15 fighters. It would've been nice if all 15 were in the movie. Some of the sides of the stories of the other 5 were funny. Some of their stories were either the result of a bad memory or them exaggerating or just plain lying. It was kind of funny. I wonder if Jurgen Blin would've had the nerve to say on camera that he pussied out and quit in his fight with Ali. That's what he said in the book. Karl Mildenberger quit too. Mildenberger signaled to the referee for help. Blin said he knew he was going to lose when Ali started putting on more pressure. He went down and could've got up, but didn't. Go down swinging at least. When the going got tough, they gave up.

I wish Trevor Berbick could've been in this. His fight with Ali was not only Ali's last fight, but it was very dramatic. The fight was called Drama in the Bahama. It certainly lived up to it. It would've been interesting to see Berbick. Plus he is quite a character.

Other fighters that would've been interesting to see also would've been Doug Jones, who fought a very exciting and close fight with Ali and Billy Daniels, who also fought an exciting and close fight. Jones took Ali the distance in a 10 round fight. During the round Ali predicted to knock Jones out in, Jones survived and even won the round. After the fight, the decision was unanimous for Ali and the decision was booed loudly by the people at Madison Square Garden. Daniels was stopped from a cut, but he was doing great. I would've liked to see Jimmy Young in this too. He did good against Ali and a lot of people thought he even won. I wish all of these guys fought Ali again.
