Penis is not a muscle (unlike the popular belief, many misinformed people think its a muscle) but closer to a blood bag. when it expands (a man gets aroused) it fills with blood and the presure of blood tightens it. there is little muscle in it. the sudden fill with blood is why its also quite hot - our blood is above room temperature but since it usually stays mostly inside us we dont feel it that much.
