Interviewer - not cool

He definitely looked and sounded out of place. From the trailers theres a lot of long ummms and arrrs. I could see the look of disbelief in Eddie Vedders eyes when he asked him the first question! LOL

Anyway I am a big fan of their Ten and Vs albums. Not sure about the rest.

I haven't seen the film yet but i'm pretty sure your talking about David Lynch. That's prob why Vedder looked the way he did.

I've only seen it on PBS (I don't know if there's another cut, but that one was 2 hours long) and the David Lynch interview wasn't in that version. There was one moment where Jeff made some crack about how he imagined that behind closed doors the Ticketmaster people were like something out of a David Lynch movie, it then cuts to a shot of David from that interview just sitting there, then back to Jeff, but they didn't actually show any of that horrible interview. At least I don't think they did. And like somebody else said, he's a great director, but he is not an interviewer. That interview is uncomfortable to watch it's so bad, and I'm not really sure why he was doing it or what it was for, but it's been floating around for a while.
