20 years together and no internal strife?

I'm not looking for a Behind The Music type thing, that stuff is cheesy. But including one sentence that says "The first 10 years were Stone's, the next 10 the band was Eddie" is hardly enough. And honestly, they haven't mattered in a long time and their songs aren't that good anymore. This felt like a 2 hour long commercial sometimes.

This is a celebration of the band. I expect it from them to not sell any drama, only music. They don't need it. Fights are fleeting, their friendship is forever. It's the whole point of movie.

This was a love letter to the band and I understand and even accept that. However, no excuse to gloss over the strife that must have existed at some point.

The music did the "talking". I guess it depends on what you'd expect from a documentary (they're not all the same). This is very much for big fans of the band, not like say, Some Kind of Monster (Metallica docu) which can be interesting cause of its concept, even if you're not a huge fan of Metallica. So yeah, as far as substantial info; it was a bit superficial e.g. McCready listing all their five (!) drummers and saying it just didn't work out with anyone, until Matt Cameron joined - would it have hurt to contact any of the old drummers??
