Disappointing.

It's a dissapointing movie, in my opinion. I expected more from a film with Laura Morante and Christian De Sica. I mean, both actors were greats in their roles (specially De Sica as the unscrupulous father) but the screenplay was really lame. Nicola Nocella as Baldo could have been better.
In the end, I couldn't understand how mother and son could forgive and forget so much pain and deception caused by the father. I guess if the screenplay had been more focused on the characters' emotions, we could have understood their reasons better.
