Crosby and Jasmine's baby
how does crosby and Jasmine's baby girl magically become black in the beginning of season 6? that really bugged me. the baby was blond and white in season 5 and looks totally different in season 6

Clearly, in the show, they switched actors... But it isn't improbable anyways. :)
Yes, mixed & black babies tend to get darker as they age, but they joked about how white the baby was & how she was "bi-species". They completely switched a white baby with blonde hair for a black baby with dark hair. It was the most awkward baby switch ever. I thought the initial baby showed how unique genetics can be, but they completely ruined it.

Yes the hair switch was funny and not realistic. I was just letting the OP now about the skin changes that can occur. I've seen many people give biracial couples funny looks when their babies are very light at birth because they don't understand how it works. :)
Obviously, in TV land, they switch actors for characters from infancy, to toddlerhood, to child age all the time, but they usually keep them looking similar. They could have done the reality of a biracial child more genuinely by using a lighter skinned baby with dark hair at first. Oh well... Maybe I'm expecting too much from Hollywood. Haha
